Modeled after the hit NBC show*, contestants audition by singing in front of the four celebrity judges. And we can guarantee that only the best voices will be competing since judges’ backs are turned to contestants, ensuring that singers chosen based solely on the merit of their voice. If judges are impressed by what they hear, they can push their button, which will rotate a swiveling chair to face the stage and see the singer for the first time. This serves as an invitation for the singer to join that coach’s team, but in the event that more than one judge pushes their button, power is shifted to the singer, who can select which judge to work with. Selected singers will join their coaches as team members, while singers who did not receive a button-push will go home. The Blind Auditions, Battle Rounds & Playoffs will be held on the Free Stage July 7 - 10. Singers will need your support, since a captivated audience might sway a wavering judge.
The Live Finale will then move from the Free Stage to the Rodeo Arena on Saturday July 15th. Coaches will work with their team members one-on-one, and contestants will participate in the same elimination challenges as NBC’s The Voice: a battle round, knockout and finally the top singer from each team will compete in a finale. The singer who receives the most votes from audience members will ultimately be named The Voice of Casper. Since the decision is in your hands, get your tickets to the finale early. You won’t want to miss it.
